Heres a short video/cold start/overview of my recently ‘restored’ truck. 350 TBI, completely stock, in the video. the ‘in’: bought this k1500 for 00 from a buddy. he rolled it into a ditch on a wet S curve road. and since i bought it, its been looking like a brand new truck with all the work. HERES WHATS BEEN DONE… complete color change. truck was white and silver, interior is the same old 21 yr old stuff. new bumpers, grille, hood, all glass except windshield, 256 cooper discoverer m+s on original 16in rims, but cleaned up, and cleared to look like new. passengers fender, mirror, door, and whole box was replaced. full undercoat spray to bottom. new reese hitch. passengers rear drive axle was also replaced. all fluids have been changed. rear brake job has been done. there is little to no rust on this truck. even before the repaint job, there was minimal rust. UPGRADES: My friend had a set of Flowtech short tube headers for this engine i bought off him for . hard to resist, so i bought . so far thats all i have. im planning on redoing the exhaust, too quiet. thinkin something from flowmaster, or just doin true duel glasspacks. thinkin a throttle body spacer in the future, along with higher quality amsoil ‘oil’ air filter. MSD box may be possible too. my dreams is a 12 valve cummins, with a straight front axle!! woot thats be nice, but im poor, because im only 17 years old haha.
